More on Arthur's family:
Arthur was born 4Q1886 to parents Henry Sanday (1849-1934) and Elizabeth (nee Smith, 1851-1933). They married 1Q1880 in Stamford then moved around a bit with their first child, Thomas Holland being born 22 April 1881 in Radford, Nottingham (died 2Q1959), their second, John Henry being born 2 July 1882 (died 1Q1976) in Middlethorpe York, the third, Mary Jane born 19 September 1884 in Bourne (possibly Castle Bytham, died 2Q1950, or 3Q1952), then Arthur in Castle Bytham 4Q1886. Henry was a domestic gardener all his working life, so he may have been moving for his job.
After that, they seem to have settled in Spondon, with Catherine (born 1Q1889 and died at a year old 3Q1890), Richard (born 27 July 1891, died 3Q1975) and Frederick (born 2Q1894, died 2Q1931).
In 1891, Arthur was living with his family in Moor Street, Spondon but in the 2 censuses of 1901 and 1911 they were at 43 Dale Road. By 1939, his surviving siblings had all moved out of Spondon, except Richard who was at 29 Oxford Street.
